Visited the Sierra Leone National Museum located close to the cotton tree. Museum had a lot of artefacts from around Sierra Leone showing the culture of the different tribes, the struggles they we t through during the Atlantic slave trade period as well as their struggle for independence. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the visit unique. Sadly, a lot of the exhibits are shown signs of age and need to be restored. The experience was worth the SLL 100 gate fee.

From the National museum I walked to the peace museum using Google maps but sadly I wasn't able to locate it as there was no visible sign post for it on the road, so I took an Okada to Lumley beach for lunch at a sea side restaurant before calling it a day.
