Day 1 Boston: Freedom Trail walking tour

The first order of the day was to get a transport card, which is called the Charlie Card in Boston. We bought this at a vending machine at Beachmonth Station, where we later took the Blue line to Boston Common to join the walking freedom trail tour.

The tour guide wore a classical olden day English clothing and was very knowledgeable on the events leading to the revolt of the colonialists and eventually war of independence. The walking tour ended at Faneuil Hall, which is the 11th stop on the trail. The remaining 5 stops terminating at Bunker Hill were not included in the walking tour.Read more
