Bogota favela (barrio) visit

Had the chance to visit today one of the barrios (poor neighboorhoods with crime issues like a favela) in Bogota together with (former) gang members: Such an impressive & touching experience, seeing & feeling first hand how people struggle to stay alive around here!

Those gang members found a great way out of crime & violence via giving interested people tours within their neighborhood to the benefit of the community! Best tour so far!Read more
