Ups & downs in Ecuador

Long time ago I posted my last story in Ecuador and there are reasons:

Firstly, my phone was stolen lately in a crowded public bus in Quito 😠. Bought a replacement now and am available only with my local number.

Secondly, the weather conditions unfortunately did not allow my desired volcano climbs > 5000m. Made it to the top of Volcano Pinchincha with 4600m, but was completely covered in clouds 😞.

But I managed to stand right on the equator 😝.

Still there is light at the end of the tunnel: Left the unlucky capital Quito for Cuenca, a nice much smaller city in the south of Ecuador and feeling quite relaxed & well here 😃.

Plan to stay around here for a while, take spanish lessons & work as volunteer in a social project.Lue lisää
