    London, England

    June 25, 2022 in England ⋅ ⛅ 61 °F

We arrived in London early in the AM and wern't sure we liked the "hotel" (London 29) as it had dirty sofas in the lobby. We stayed anyway since the location was good and the rooms were just okay. While waiting for our rooms we had breakfast and Jenn and Dana had hysterics that we’re contagious. Buckingham Palace was right across from our hotel.
The Starks went to Windsor Castle to say hi to the Queen...more on that later. Stone Henge was seen and so was the Tower Bridge.
The Bridge,, built between 1886 and 1894, It crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London. The bridge was constructed to give better access to the East End of London.
Leeds Castle was filled with history of Lady Baillie's life as well as history. Canterbury Cathedral is from 597AD and oldest still in use Cathedral. Thomas Becket was murdered in 1710. The Cantebury Tales written by Chaucer takes place in Cantebury.
We found a cute tea shop in Chilham with scones and beer for Lincoln and Michael, our tour guide.
