Today was Italy's National Republic holiday and we took the ferry back out to Giglio Island for 3 nights.
Much to our delight, when we arrived at our favourite Cannelle Beach they had a couple of guys playing live music at the beach bar.
We took a seat and left 6 hours later after partying, talking (in a wonderful mash up of Italian and English) eating, drinking and so much laughing - such a memorable afternoon with Giglio delivering more of its special magic.
Two young couples from Milan joined us at the table (they had spent some time travelling in Australia) and when the muscians (from Florence) finishing playing, they joined us to 'facciamo una festa' (make a party) again 🥳Leer más
