เมืองนี้จริงๆตั้งใจใส่ไว้เป็นตัวเลือก ไม่มาธรรมศาลาก็มานี่ แต่ปรากฎว่าพวกเราโลภค่าาา มามันให้หมดน่ะแหล่ะ ตอนแรกจะโลภอีกอยากขึ้นไป Srinagar แล้วอยู่ชิมลาแค่วันเดียว สุดท้ายตัดสินใจว่าอยู่ สองวันดีกว่าาา ชิวๆ เมืองนี้สวยยย สวยกว่าที่คิด เป็นเมืองบนเขา 2200ft อากาศหนาวแต่มีแดด เลยกำลังสบายย ไม่ทรมาน

วันนี้กะว่ามาชิวๆ เดินเล่นกินลมชมวิว....แต่มันอยู่บนเขาค่าาา เดินเล่นทีเหมือนมา hiking กว่าจะถึงถนนที่เป็นร้านค้าก็เล่นเอาหอบอยู่ แต่ข้างบนก็สวยจริงๆ นั่งชิวๆได้นานเลย

อีกอย่างที่ต่างคือ ที่นี่คนหน้าตาเริ่มค่อนไปทางแขกขาวเยอะ คนหน้าเอเชียจีนๆก็มีพอสมควร หลายๆอย่างต่างจากอินเดียตอนบนพอสมควร เค้าบอกตรงนี้เป็น Himalaya ทั้งผู้คนและการใช้ชีวิตก็ดูต่างกับ อินเดียด้านล่างพอสมควร

Staeted off the day super lazy. If you asked me a year ago, chilling this much while traveling would be a crime. But i guess I'm getting old, don't mind the lazy go-with-the-flow travel style as much.

It was about 10am by the time we checked out, went for veg brunh (potato curry,) we got full af!!! Who said veg food is healthy needs to take a look. All i got was carb and im so unconfortably full even now. After the meal we walked (painfully tiring, complaining-all-the-way walk up the stairs to the mall rd.) It felt like walking up 100 stairs to us. So instead of going straight to our 1st destination, Jakhu Temple, we ended up at a cafe called Wake N Bake and sipped coffee while watching the town there. We didnt get out of this place til afternoon (talking about being lazyyyy) then we made our way to the highest peak of Shimla, the said temple....

Or more like we wished we did. After just about 300m from bottom of mountain, we were panting so heavily. Fern actually said for Titan and me to go on without her, she would wait downstairs. Being as tired as we are, we decided to just take the taxi up (200rps!!!) The top....home of Hanuman and his monkies. Cant say I'm very impressed with the temple, it's quite normal to me. The cool bit was when you pray, thy will paint a straight orange line on your forehead and give you a handful of sugar...

We then walked down the mountain, sat our tired ass down for about 20 mins in front of Christ Church, and then made our way down to get taxi for Viceregal Lodge.

I got so pissed off at taxi here. Their price is so outrageous, it kills my favor for Shimla quite a bit. After a bit of heckling, we pay 400 for 4km ride to the lodge. Cant say Im impressed with this one either, after the taxi and the fact that this is built by British conquere, i lost my appetize for the place. Anyhow, an interesting thing is that they converted this place to Phd students residence. So people come from all over to do their research on humanity at this place including Aung San Suu Kyi....

In conclusion. This place is pretty great except for 3 things
1. GODDAMN stairs and slope walking (you need to be physically fit for this town)
2. 90% Veg food, arggg
3. Everything close so early
