Last day in Rome

Last day in city I Went to St Peter's Square I toured the 16th Chappel is was beautiful very overwhelming . Then I walked Vatican City, but no tours of museums too may people. After that I was across the water to very cool area called Trastevere and had great lunch at Tornarello this was recommended to me from great clients it was fantastic most likely the best pasta I have had this whole trip.Then a nice walk back to hotel without getting lost stopped at couple more churches great end to my first Trip.to RomeRead more

Day at Sea

Travel day at sea so relaxing day nice breakfast then movie on main deck outside . Then good walk around the ship.for exercise while passing a volcanio Stromboli very cool. We are now passing through the cut heading into the Ionian Sea to Santorini beautiful.Read more
TravelerIn Fira, Santorini check if the BlueNote Tavern is still there. It was built into the side of a mountain, cavelike with bottles of “Jack” with candles burning. Penalty shots of Jack instead of tips! Long time ago!

Beautiful trip.to Santorini cut short did not get to go to Fira wind picked up cable cars down were shut down tenders stopped as well. Our tour operator put us on a boat heading to where the tenders for ship were, but next thing we knew we were at our ship. It's a little crazy getting off, but all and all good dayRead more

Athens day trip amazing city wish I.had more time. I barely seen much unfortunately there was a protest closing a lot of the streets today, which should not have surprised me. I have been warned by a good friend. The Greece always shuts down for protests . Hung out with a couple of Canadians off my boat, which was very nice because the city was hard to understand, but always someone offering to help a single traveler

I did a walking tour of the new and old very interesting, unfortunately I lost my group close to end tour, so off I wondered

There was no big tour for this port, so I just walked In to town and enjoyed the shops and water front most were getting ready to shut down for off-season . Tomorrow a sea day so rest relaxation.

Birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte largest city in Corsica. My day started off in the wind and pouring rain but got much nicer as the day went. I wish I could have seen it all in sunshine. What a beautiful island
The coast is full of modern homes, so amazing to see so many in one place. You can take a ferry 12 miles to Sardinia Italy. I wish I had more time .Read more

Little cooler today, but I walked into TOULON and found a lot of boats in the water and on .The hard .I also found a very cool market, and then on my way back to the ship I bought a baguette when in France. Road trip from Toulon to Saint Tropez nice drive through the countryside up and down winding mountain. The supper yatches were unbelievable and did not disappoint

I'm loving being back in Italy. What an amazing city every time I turned a narrow corner wowed by amazing buildings. Had some of the best food froccia bread that melted in your mouth and pasta so delish. I spent most of day just wondering about the street's great day.Read more

Wow, I love Greece. This port did not disappoint so beautiful.
Tour took me all the way up a mountain to amazing views. Then a boat ride into caves and a nice beach water colors were insane so blue so turquoise I could not take my eyes away then dropped me off into the town to shop and eat great stores friendly people amazing foodRead more

MESSINA SICILY

Nice tour of Messina and small towns surrounding .This port we got an overnight, so it was nice to walk around and explore with less time restrictions . I also had time to enjoy the local food.

NAPLES (AMAIFI COAST SERENTO AND POMPEII

Last excursion of the trip grey sky's turned blue once more me. The boat tour of the Amalfi Coast was beautiful. Spent a little time in the town of Amalfi had a lemoncello. Then, back to Serento, just a peak then lunch and then toured the ruins of Pompeii. They were pretty incredible, but my tour was to be Capri and Positanio . Apparently, some roads were closed for repairs, hence the change.Read more
