We arrived late at our accommodation and went straight to bed. We have explored the apartment this morning and it is very nice. Well equipped, clean and has plenty of room.
Day 1 Grocery Haul

We nipped up to the local Intermarche which is only 3 mins away and bought our first couple of days food. We made sure we bought some rehydration goods as well. £54 in total including 5 litres ofBaca selengkapnya

We visited a viewpoint known as Wren’s Balance. The road was very sketchy but the view and swing at the top were amazing.

Lagoa Comprida

We visited a reservoir at 5000ft above sea level. First reservoir I’ve seen built of stone, not concrete. It was cold, windy and fantastic. We ate our packed lunch here before heading to theBaca selengkapnya

We arrived in Figueira da Foz and took a stroll down to a very rough sea shore. The beach was empty and a long way from the promenade.

Like many things in Portugal this building is old and deteriorating. You can take tour on Fridays and Saturdays though so hopefully it will be restored one day.
A no oven dinner

Dommie, Oliver and I finally flying out to join the boys and explore what will be our new home! Portugal here we come!
Monte da Estrela Livre

We all visited the land today and had a good explore. We visited all of the weeks and springs and had a good look around the entire 12 acres.

We drove to the top of the mountain and it was cold, very cold. Even had snow on the ground. We all had a lovely cup of hot chocolate, brought some souvenirs and then raced back to the car.
