St Magnus, the Earl & Bishop's palace

This 1137 built Cathedral is spectacular. The weathered sandstone entrance reflects its age. A tremendous amount of history inside. An interesting brochure on graffiti and its ancient history. The Earl's and Bishop's palace is an impressive ruin. The Earl appears not to have been a very nice person, ended up being beheaded.Read more
