Scarpa Flow museum, Lynness, Hoy Island

Wonderful museum at Lyness. Such an important part of history in both world wars. The facilities were very extensive, particularly in WW2. Out are the propeller, bearing and shaft of the HMS Hampshire. German naval bow anchor removed from one of the German warships scuttled in Scapa Flow on the 21 June 1919 at end of WW1.Read more
