We had soup in Faro. It was nice. The city is probably better in the summer, but we saw some interesting street art and architecture. It was nice to see more storks nesting on the church towers.

Today we arrived in Algés to visit a friend and spend some time in Lisbon. We walked around Belém which is beautiful.
Lisbon

We visited Lisbon today and walked around the city for several hours. We saw some interesting architecture and street art and some historic sites like the Roman Amphitheatre.
Cabo Do Roca

Today, we drove to Cabo Do Roca with Patrick to see the most westerly point of continental Europe. The weather was perfect and it was a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Sintra

We visited Sintra and the Moorish Castle (Castelo dos Mouros) today. It's an incredible historic mountaintop castle surrounded by a forest planted in the 19th Century and several archaeological sites.
Cascais

We found a nice place near to a huge salt lagoon to spend a few days. The sunsets on the cliffs were beautiful.
Souselo

Stayed here for about a week, free electricity, free hot showers and a fantastic view! 😊 What more can ya ask for!
Braga

Met up with Thierry in Braga today, was lovely to walk about and see some of the amazing buildings and stunning flower arrangements. Very pretty place!

After a bit of a hairy drive to our spot for the night (the van didn't make it up one steep road so we had to go around) the stress became instantly worth it when we woke up this morning to a glorious Czytaj więcej

Staying in a nice lil park around a nice house, seems quite posh so we defo feel like we're lowering the tone a bit rocking up in our filthy transit! Haha got some really nice grounds tho!
Montreuil

Stayed in the walled fort town of Montreuil, really cute town surrounded with enormous walls, probably there to keep the brits out... We won't tell them we were there! 😊

Parked up in calais to catch the ferry later, nice lil beach here n if you look closely you can see England... Maybe! It's been a great trip, sad to be going home but happy to be returning to regular Czytaj więcej
