Lila Jensen Started this blog on "Find Penguins.com" for this and future trips. I have invited certain family and friends to follow my "footprints". It won't be too exciting this winter as we finish the house but you never know what might come up. Stay tuned.
youonlylivetwice How is your trip going so far? Heading back to Bratislava and will be on my own for 4 days before I surprise the aunt . How's the house coming?
Lila Jensen Well, not much time for touring....except the hardware, tile or lighting stores; trips to city to order a garage door, paying bills we've never seen or paid before - don't have a clue where they went. We go to the site most everyday but today I caught up on admin stuff - posting bills, receipts and invoices as well as finalizing cabinet requirements and forwarding to our selected cabinet company. Got lots of deposits on materials done (pool, granite, doors, toilets, sinks, etc.). Oh, we have wall tile in the bathrooms and floor throughout. After hours and hours of planning and drawing had to change VERY last minute because the plumbing is not centered! The tile detail I had planned would only accentuate the problem so I changed them all and the result is quite nice. It's done in any event! So, we move onward from here.
Lila Jensen We went to a lovely new restaurant with friends last night at a new development at Playa la Ensenada San Carlos. It was gorgeous and only 15 minutes from home.
