We had a terrible overnight bus ride, mainly because it was so cold on the coach, we were sitting at the front so could see all the traffic lights and drivers loud music so not much sleeping unfortunately!

Arrived at kuala besut at around 5.30am and the bubu office did not open till 8am so slept on some benches like we were homeless for an hour!

After we decided we could not sleep any further we had a look round, not much to say really, was just loads of travel outlets opening, had a coffee and then spoke to bubu rep who advised us that boat would go at 10, so went and had another coffee and pancake.

The weather was starting to warm up by now.

Boat ride was quick, I fell asleep during it but then we arrived and the island just looked amazing!!

White sandy beaches, clear blue water-that is 30 degrees!

It is a little island with a big mountain covered in rainforest with little huts on the side of the beach. Huge monitor lizards walking around and an eagle circling overhead.

Had a lovely few hours sunbathing and going in the sea and then a sleep for an hour after late lunch.

Then the storm clouds came in and did it rain! i now know what moosoon rain is like! Clouds and the thunder and lightening appeared all of a sudden and then the rain. We had a couple of cocktails in the bar and went to bed listening to the rain.もっと詳しく
