Luke and Claire's place in the Flinders

Have come to 660 Dunnolly Road approx 12km out of Hawker to stay a couple of nights at Luke and Claire's property they've recently purchased. Luke and Claire are currently in Coleraine but they are arriving to live here tomorrow. How cool that they've allowed Rog and I to be their welcoming committee!
Making ourselves at home - have hung out our clothes on their clothes line, and parked our caravan to hook up to power.
Enjoy wandering about the place - checking out old buildings and relics.
Tea tonight thermomix mince and pasta with bread.
Next day get up and go for walk - check out more old buildings etc. After breakfast and some caravan set up rearranging, leave caravan in place, and drive back into Hawker. Getting fuel and grocery supplies. Rog also takes this opportunity to empty our caravan dump cassette.
After our walk to Castle Rock we drive back to our caravan at Luke and Claire's. Roger gets tea prepared ready to cook for a 7pm dinner, we just relax until Claire and Luke arrive. They arrive at 5pm (their ETA! - spot on). Enjoy getting the tour of the house they're about to restore and renovate. Next we do our best to help them unload gear as they require. Then we have a nice time having tea with them, zucchini soup, roast lamb, gravy and veggies, followed by apple crumble with cream. We get a shower of rain at dessert time so we have this huddled together in our caravan 😄 Luke and Claire have had a big day of travel etc to get here, so understably best they head off early to settle in at friends, where they're staying until they get their water here sorted.もっと詳しく
