Farina Campground

Lovely campground with firepits, picnic tables, toilets and showers (donkey heater). $10 per person a night, or $20 per vehicle.
Volunteers keep the place in good order and the good works (with government grants) shows. Very good War Memorial here for past Farina residents.
Rog is having a donkey shower this evening. We are just having leftover mince pasta reheated for tea.
In the morning we get up and go for a walk together and check out the historic cemetery. Then I continue walking myself for another hour or so - do the walking trail that goes along thecold train lines. Get back and go have a 'donkey' shower (great!). Then get ready to head off - we call in at the Farina Bakery again on leaving. I have my breakie of ham and egg pie, followed by cream bun! We stocked up with multigrain bread and fruit loaf.Read more
