Cloncurry

Arrive and go straight to the Information Centre to find it's closed for the afternoon- due to the Curry Merry Festival. So we drive and check out the free RV parking in town - decide not to stay here as under/around a main road. Head out to the Equestrian Centre where the Curry Merry Festival (main part of rodeo) being held and decide to camp out here $20 for event (over 4 days, we'll stay 2 nights). The event has free shuttles buses running on circuit from town to Equestrian Centre.Read more
