Argyle Homestead Museum

We leave Keep River National Park and return to WA. Now heading to check Lake Argyle out. We come across this - and call in. Glad we did, very interesting information about the pioneering family that has had such an impact on this area.
Also got to meet Patsy the resident Bowerbird (wild bird that has got used to people visiting) - he put on a lovely display for me, showing off his normally hidden pink head crest (used to attract female Bowerbirds). Very cute.
After we leave here I eat my sandwich for lunch, Roger had his before we left KRNP. Now heading to the Lake Argyle Caravan Park to purchase entry to swim in their Infinity pool. $10 each for 'day pass' for Infinity pool, and we have a drink at the bar/hotel while we're there - another $20. Have a great swim, then leave to go driving to look about the lake - we drive over the wall that was built to create the lake. Now ready to head back 'home' to our caravan.Leer más
