King River Road drive return

Started off on this 4wd road happily to check out some noted points of interest from our tourist information sheet, but also hoping it would join us onto the Gibb River Road (giving us a loop back onto the Victoria Highway). Turns out that it would via The Karunjie stock route (extreme 4wd track) - just not happy to tackle this on our own on a 40° day (which it is at this moment). Will have to tackle this one another trip - hopefully have company.
With our in and back trip (70km at least) we get to see Proposal Falls (dry), Moochalabra Dam, Aboriginal Rock Art and the Prison Tree.Read more
