Cable Beach swim

After enjoying our oyster snack (lunch for me) at Wharf Restaurant we're prepared with our bathers to go for a swim... So Cable Beach, here we are! We leave the ute in the carpark and stroll down onto Cable Beach. Magnificent sight on a lovely warm day, we've got plenty of other beach goers and lifeguards are on duty - so no qualms about swimming here today.
The water is not cold (like Port Fairy) and today the current seems stronger (than Port Fairy's) so we just stay in our depth close to shore. Roger catches a few good waves for body surfing (he's muttered that he wishes he had his boogie board) and I enjoy bobbing around like a cork - until the current wears me out. Then it's time to lie about on the beach - relaxing. Roger goes back in for another dip, before we decide to head back to our caravan park.
