Hedland Harbour Cafe

This Cafe is near the Visitor Centre and we call in for lunch. Pretty pricey pasta for us - though it was good. I had Pesto Chorizo Penne and Roger had Seafood Fettuccine. No drinks and it still cost $53.
After we finish here, we go for a walk to look in the harbour as a large ship is pushed out of the port with help from the tug boats. While watching this I get a phone call from TripADeal (last night I put in an online form request for a call back) - a nice chap Adam, who gives me the impression there will be no problem to book my Early Arrival to Calgary for July 8th next year. He tells me he will email me the details for my confirmation and payment (extra cost for EA). I am looking forward to this email! There is a public holiday tomorrow - so I'm told not to expect a response until Tuesday.Read more
