Five Mile Beach

Arrrrrrh...this is the beach that clothed people can come to, to look for turtles. Lots of great signage along the walkway to the beach with turtle information. When we get to the beach, we see no sign of turtle tracks in the sand, though looking out to the water we can see a fairly large turtle bobbing around at the surface. Continue watching this turtle as it's coming closer to the beach - going underwater then appearing again. I'm just about to take a photo with my mobile when I get an incoming call. It's Robert - so turtle pic is forgotten. Enjoy a chat with Robert letting us know Roger's mobile has been handed in to the reception at our caravan park. Oh that's funny - Roger knew he'd left it behind today but thought it was at our caravan- took Robert trying to call him - to find out where it really is! Apparently handed in as it was left in the amenities block (toilet lol). Anyway Robert got to catch up with us - all good 💕 After this call, ready to drive on to our next point of interest.Read more
