Arrrr this spot even has a sign showing that its suitable for snorkling. Can see straight away it is a sheltered bay - and that it's bay has weeds in it which could be helpful for marine life to be present. Also, their are others out there snorkling already. We get ourselves organised to snorkel and once in the water we realise it's going to be very shallow (the tide is on its way out). Still fun swimming over the weeds, small rocks and shells - at first I wasn't seeing any fish, but once I got acustom to the environment I was seeing quite a few - just very silvery blending in fish. All different types and sizes from very small to quite decent size.
Stayed in the water for about 1/2 an hour before getting cold.Read more
