Mt Kosciuszko Summit

Wow - we have made it to the summit in good time without feeling rushed. We have got the best weather for this today - the sun has even been coming out every now and again. Up at the summit it is cold - but not unbearable with the right clothing and the fact we're keeping warm from the walk. We stop for a rest and to enjoy some snacks (we're not ready to have our sandwiches yet). Mandarin and muesli bar for me, biscuits and muesli bar for Rog - so great to be able to enjoy the spectacular views (yesterday's weather I thought our visibility would be zilch!). After a 20 minute relax, time to do the return walk - mainly downhill for sure!Read more
