Old Parliament House Canberra

As there is a Federal Election about to take place May 3, there is a early voting polling booth set up in Old Parliament House, so we have plenty of people to pass on our way in. We don't worry about taking a guided tour here (though I'm sure you can) - we're just happy to wander about and check out the rooms, displays and exhibits that we as the public are welcome to do. Again, very interesting and worthwhile - leave here feeling very proud to be Australian as we have a sound governing body with our democracy at work.
After our look around - we're ready to go back to our camp to make sure we get our washing and tea sorted.Read more
