National Museum Australia

Drive here and park. Nice to get here before it gets busy. We decide to check out the Pompeii Exhibition which has a charge - adults $25 each. Glad we did have a look. Terrible to think what happened almost 2000 years ago to this city - but incredible how it's been preserved for us to look at today. We enjoy looking through the National Museum as well - but left 'underwhelmed' with it - probably as we've seen quite a few Museums on our trip. Now starting to think of lunch - which we're going to buy today. Figure we'll wait until we get to the Botanical Gardens. Off we go driving....Read more
