Our 2nd visit here (day trip previous) - such a lovely place with its historic buildings. We park where we can, near the main street area, with the caravan. Roger's keen to go try his luck for a haircut at a Barber's Shop that we can see is open. I leave him to it and go for a nice stroll along the streets, checking out the shops. Some lovely gift shops, as well as a gorgeous ugg boot shop - made here, so tempting (love supporting Australian wool business), but I don't need new ones yet. I make it to the Visitor Information - stock up on some brochures and get good info on local attractions from the staff. Roger calls me to say he's had a haircut and where will we meet for a cuppa? I suggest the Railway Cafe....happy with that. Next we get meat from the butcher for our tea, then go to IGA to get salad to go with it. Now ready to go settle ourselves in at the caravan park, so off we go.Read more
