Check in at the office - we've already booked online with our G'day membership, so the manager, Rodger, is quick to have us organised to go set up on site 10. We do - and it's a lovely site, in a corner with our view to the water, and across into neighbouring greenery. While Roger setting up the awning etc (no mat required - lovely grass) I go put on a load of washing. Then, once finished settling, we have some lunch - leftover pizza and salad. By this time, we can hang out our washing. Once that's done we decide to go for a drive to check out the spiral rail loop - it's about a 20 minute drive from Junee.
We get back around 4.30pm. I get the washing in and folded, then catch up on our budget books, Roger gets organised for tea. We go over to the camp kitchen- take our airfryer to cook homemade chips which we have with marinated steaks Roger cooks on the BBQ and serve with packet Asian salad. Very nice! I've got the Thermomix going - making rice pudding for our dessert. We head back to our caravan to have that. Now time for Roger's shower (when he returns - verdict, old but good), and I wash the dishes. We're relaxing before bed - Roger try's a movie - no luck, so reading, I'm writing this up - then bedtime.
15/05/25 Thursday. We get up around 7.30am. I mention I'm going for a walk around our nearby area before breakfast - lovely to find when I'm ready to go, Roger's coming with me. We have a nice walk into the town centre and back, then have our breakfast - porridge for both of us, Roger has some toast as well. I go and have a shower, then help get ready to be on the move. We leave at 10am.
