„The street art festival in Salt River“ was the topic of our class discussion and it quickly became one of my favorites. This festival is on the streets of Salt River and features a collection of international and community art. It occurs just once a year in this suburb of Cape Town. The colorful streets play a significant role in contributing to a more vibrant and enjoyable life for the locals. The artists involved believe that their art can bring about social change and improve the mental health of the community. Through their work and murals, they want to convey the message that life can be transformative. They believe to inspire hope and provide a way for the community to find solace and belief through their murals.🙏🏽
In my opinion, this is such a lovely and amazing way to empower the community and give them more confidence in life. Each mural, as far as I'm concerned, offers something meaningful for everybody.✨ .Les mer
