    Silivri us a thriving resort and fishing town on the Sea of Marma, dating back to Thracian times, with a history of conflict. The Byzanantines built a castle here. The stone bridge was built on the order of Suileman the Magnificent in 1562. The town was mostly Jewish at the beginning of the last century.Read more
