Crossing The Iron Curtain

We crossed over to the West this morning. We knew approximately where the border was but we pinned it down by the change in lampposts. Photo 1. Stalin built the Iron Curtain to isolate the Soviet Bloc countries from the West. Winston Churchill used the term in a speach he gave in 1946 at Westminster College in Missouri, where Susan and I have visited.
