Lake Pedder.

Our campsite on Ted's Beach, had water of the lake meters away from our door, panoramic views were picture framed by our caravan windows.

We took in the Gordon Lake Dam which is part of Tassie hydro power scheme, was constructed in 1972.

The dam wall stands 110 metres, above the gorge floor, and took 153000 cubic M concrete to build.

Joanne and I took on the 200 steps to wall along the top of the dam wall, and took in the views of this impressive natural gorges, who rock formations were wavy.

I stop at the lodge at Strathgordon, for beverage taking in the views down lake pedder.

Back at camp that evening we spoke with other travelers before a bus load of Russian on tour made this their dinner stop.
