Albany

The Granite Skywalk at Castle Rock offers stunning views of Albany, Mount Gardner, Mount Manypeaks, and the Stirling Range. Starting from Bremer Bay, we drove 260 km to the Castle Rock picnic area. The 2 km hike, with a 450 m elevation gain, took an hour through jarrah, marri, and karri forests. Highlights included the Balancing Rock, the lower lookout, and a climb through rocks and up a 6 m ladder to the upper lookout. The effort was well worth the incredible views!

Off early this morning, The Gap, Natural Bridge, whale station and misery beach, the boat harbour markets and Kel finally got some pickleball, with a gelato waffle on our way back to our van, Joanne is still fatigued from the castle rock walk.Leggi altro
