Achumani

The architecture here is beautiful. Each house is unique and they design it so they aren't all square boxes. All the houses have a fence of stone, brick, or cement to keep it safe. There are also neighborhood watch men who set up a stall in the neighborhood and walk around the block whistling loudly to let robbers know he is around.
There is a mercado close by where there are many stalls of produce, meat, fish, & household things that cholitas sell. They pile the food high and pack in as much as possible in their little space. I also had my first saltena!Read more
