Ica & Huacachina

Took the nightbus to Ica straight after the colca canyon hike to relax there for 2 days. Ica lies on the border of the Atacama desert and has one of the driest climates in the world, with only around 1 centimetre of rainfall for the whole year.

Just next to Ica lies Huacachina, a village built around a small oasis and surrounded by sand dunes. The second day I went there to do a buggy tour through the dunes and to enjoy some sandboarding.Leggi altro
