Nizhneudinsk, 2913 miles from Moscow

Just nipped out but it's too cold to stay out long! Here for 13 minutes, so long enough for Stu to have his nicotine fix, but there's no food on the platform here. It's not too bad really, as we got some yesterday. We've been wandering round the landscape, with the train winding around the hill side. First sight of the Ural mountains too, crowned with snow. Lots and lots of trees! Next stop about 3 o'clock for 30 minutes, when the engine will probably be changed. It's nice to see the sign, letting us know in which direction we are heading 😁😁.Read more
