Khilok, 2086 miles to Vladivostok

Been following the Khilok river valley since the last stop. The river is frozen most of the way, with just the middle flowing. The station is very busy, with lots of goods trains. We are around 20 miles from the Chinese border here, and follow the border now down to Vladivostok. It's too cold to stay out for long, and there are no shops on the platform, which are extremely narrow. We are here for 20 mins.Read more
