• Narita-san-Shinshoji Temple I

    November 19, 2019 in Japan ⋅ ☀️ 18 °C

It was our last site to visit, which weighed on my heart a bit. I enjoyed the tour and absorbing the views, the architecture and the environment as a whole.
It was a Buddhist temple, which was easy to see in the architecture and its artworks. They're fascinating to look at, and learn about too. The three story Pagoda has a beam running down the centre for structural integrity. However, it doesn't actually reach the ground, it's stops about a level before it - This is to ensure it will survive earthquakes.

I loved taking photos here, there was so many interesting angles to explore :)

Money Turtles. So unexpected and cute! I love them. 🐢🐢🐢
