Queenstown

Day 16: Drive back to Queenstown, Free time in the city, Fergbaker Pies, Last night with the group, familiar faces returned for dinner and drinks

The drive back to Queenstown was a sad one. We all knew this would be the last day and we were all surprised just how quickly everything went. The drive back did include a nice stop off at a fruit market with freshly picked citrus fruits, berries, and plums. Several minutes later I was sitting on the bus sitting with 5 plums having only bought 1, after the rest of the group were surprised at just how tart the fruits were.

Arriving back in Queenstown early allowed us some more free time before dinner. Naturally, a small group of us went back to Fergbaker for some delicious meat pies and to walk around the city one last time.

The night included one last dinner with our group and our friends from the North Island. After dinner we had one last night out filled with dancing and singing before heading to bed, and starting the journey home.Baca lagi
