Prospecting with Hugh at Redcastle

After Jessica's birthday breakfast we drove to Leonora to meet up with Hugh and Sue before following Hugh out to his prospecting camp at Redcastle. We jumped straight on the detectors but didn't find anything apart from some old tins and wire. We cooked a barbecue for dinner and Hugh had organised a special birthday cake, including candles, for Jessica's birthday.

The weather got pretty wild the next day with strong winds and some rain. Once it had cleared we went out prospecting again but with no luck. Hugh did find a little gold nugget which Kelly, Jessica and Lewys helped to dig up and he then gave it to us which was so kind.
