Mostly Europeans, including a group that sailed from the Canary IslandsThis is an active volcano. Rifts are created with minor shifts in the earthThe lava rocks were so colorful!     On Isla Isabela, we took a 10 Mile hike up Sierra Negra, Isabela's oldest and largest volcano. At over 10k in diameter, it's crater is the 2nd largest in the world.
