Emily and I stopped in Iceland for 24 hours before heading to Amsterdam. We went to the blue lagoon, passed by several Bonus stores, and walked around Reykjavik. It was drizzly and cold all day, but we still had fun. We stayed in the Galtafeld guest house. We had hot dogs at the place Bill Clinton went to back in the 90s, and we ate at a cute little restaurant called "Fish and More." Emily came up with the name "city of windows" for Amsterdam, and I agree with it. There's so much to see and do, all with a theme of openness, whether it's biking, visiting a museum, or going to a "coffee shop." The beer sucks though.Read more

Hungry birds tour

We went all over the non-touristy parts of Amsterdam for this tour. We started with some street food, then grabbed some bar snacks at this really cool converted tram shed. Then we got some Indonesian food and went to a few more bars. More beautiful weather.Read more
