Hohensalzburg Fortress

Wonderful afternoon wandering around the fortress that dominates Salzburg. Built by Archbishops over several centuries the history of the fortress is explained very clearly through the museum. The funicular to the top was fast and fun and the views stunning. Climbed to the tallest tower and walked inside the walls. Now having a coffee and cake looking out over the town and river.Läs mer
