Avignon Day 1

Awoke to blue skies and milder temperatures. Making the most of it with breakfast on a square surrounded by Christmas stalls and listening to Christmas music.

Found our way to the Popes Palace and Cathedral. They’re open tomorrow so making the most of the sunshine with a beer and listening to a sax player/singer. Plan is to walk along the river while it’s nice.

After the walk went back for the pizza we didn’t get round to eating yesterday.

Out for an evening stroll. Tried a kebab from a kiosk; it was awful so having a sweet crepe in a bar to take the taste away.
