Catalan Parliament

Couldn’t pass up the chance of a Parliament tour. This one particularly interesting because of the ongoing tensions with Spain for greater independence. They have had some degree of autonomy several times, most recently from 1980. The guide was very good and enthusiastic about the Catalan cause. They work hard to connect with the young and to promote the Catalan language. Nerdy photos are committee rooms, the chamber and recording paraphernalia.Читать далее
