Today is the day. Our ship snuck into port at about 6am under cover of darkness. No bottling out now.
More doof doof music from some event this morning at 5am - again. The quiet of the engines on the ship will be welcome. Went out to drop our cases off this morning and discovered it had snowed in the mountains above the town over night. Not just a little bit. Beautiful.
Killing time over a yummy lunch before we board at 16:00hrs. Have to check our Antarctic clothing we hired and boots before we sail. Could be hectic. I'll add some pictures if I can. BTW it looks like the interior of the ship has had a refit. Nice without going over the top.
