Danco Is, Melchior Is and Home

Two spectacular locations today. Shore landing at Danco Island and then a Zodiac cruise at the Melchior Islands. We scored a sunny day again and a total glass off in the Melchiors. That worries me.
Lots of pix including in yer face whales and whales under water. Will post when I can.
We are starting the crossing of the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia now. 4 to 5 metres swells predicted so I won't be fiddling with cameras of computers.
It's been a great trip and we've been lucky with the weather. We seem to be the last passenger ship to head back. We have seen no others ships and at one point we were over 400km from the nearest ship/base.
Going to bed now as I am dreading the trip back across the Drake.Читать далее
