A couple of luxurious & rainy days

After Jasper we went to Prince George for a couple of nights. We visited a family-friend over there and stayed with him. The weather wasn’t nice, so we “just” enjoyed the advantages of a big house with pinball, pool and a gym 🤩🎉. Matthias and I tried lobster for the first time - and of course we loved it (despite cruel part of the preparation). After two nights of living the “Canadian Dream” with nice wine and food we had to go back to reality and our backpacking life 🤪.

Nach Jasper Nationalpark führen wir für ein paar Tage nach Prince George. Dort besuchten wir Grant, einen Freund der Familie. Da das Wetter regnerisch war, nutzte wir “lediglich” die Vorzüge des großen Hauses - ich rede hier von Billiard, Flipper und einem Fitnessraum 🤩! Außerdem probierten Matthias und ich Hummer zum ersten Mal - natürlich liebten wir es (außer dem grausamen Teil der Zubereitung). Nach zwei Tagen im „Kanadischen Traum“ mit tollem Essen und besonderem Wein, kehrten wir schlussendlich zu unserem Backpacker Leben und in die Realität zurück 🤪.Read more
