Deep Cove with Phil and Natalia

Today we met up with Phil and Natalia, friends of the family, in Vancouver. They took us to a part of North Vancouver, called Deep Cove. There we took another (this time intermediate and short 😂) hike to a lookout point called Quarry Rock. We had a wonderful view of a cove of the ocean😍. After a short brake and some pictures we went down for some more talking and dinner. Wat a wonderful sunny day, ending up with a walk through Gastown (old Vancouver) 😊.

Heute trafen wir Phil und Natalia, zwei gute Freunden der Familie aus Vancouver. Gemeinsam fuhren wir nach Deep Cove, einem Stadtteil neben Nord Vancouver. Dort gingen es erneut auf eine (diesmal wirklich nur mittelschwere und kurze) Wanderung zu einem tollen Aussichtspunkt - genannt Quarry Rock. Von dort hatten wir eine wundervolle Aussicht auf eine Bucht des Ozeans 😍. Nach einer kurzen Pause und ein paar Bildern ging es weiter. Es wurde gequatscht und noch etwas gegessen, ehe wir wieder Richtung Vancouver Downtown fuhren. Was für ein wundervoller sonniger Tag, der mit einem Spaziergang durch Gastown (altes Vancouver) 😊 endet.Read more
