Zion NP - the Narrows

Next stop: the Zion National Park 🏞 such a beautiful national park - green and located at a river. At the same time warm and with red stones and earth around🥰. Hence we only had half a day here, we decided to do two hikes. The first one was called The River Walk and The Narrows. It is absolutely well organized here! We took a shuttle bus to the beginning of the trail. The way led us along the Virgin River, whose water level is not high at the moment. It is relatively flat and narrow. At the end of the actual trail, we had the opportunity to wade in the shallow water 😍. Beautiful during this hot weather. The deepest the water got was up to the waist 🙉. Bikini-Hiking 😂. After many photos and videos between the narrow rock-walls we made our way back. We saw some squirrels and deers, which continued their supper unimpressed by the people along the way. Back to the information center by shuttle and off to the next point by car (direction Bryce Canyon).

Nächster Halt: der Zion Nationalpark 🏞 soooo ein schöner Nationalpark- grün und an einem Fluss, zugleich aber genauso warm/heiß und mit roten Steinen und Erde 🥰. Da wir nur einen halben Tag hier vor Ort hatten, entschlossen wir uns zu zwei Wanderungen. Die erste hieß The River Walk und The Narrows. Mega gut organisiert fuhr uns ein Shuttle Bus zu dem Anfang des Weges. Der Weg führte uns zunächst am Virgin River entlang, dessen Wasserstand zur Zeit nicht so hoch ist und relativ flach und eng ist. Am Ende des eigentlichen Trails, hatte man die Möglichkeit im flachen Wasser weiter zu waten 😍. Wunderschön bei dem tollen Wetter. Zwischendurch wurde das Wasser tief bis zur Hüfte - Bikini Wandern war angesagt 😂. Nach vielen Fotos und Videos zwischen den engen Felswänden bahnten wir uns den Weg zurück. Wir sahen einige Squirrels und Rehe, die unbeeindruckt von den Menschen weiter am Rande des Weges frassen. Zurück zum Informationscenter mit dem Shuttle und auf zum nächsten Punkt mit dem Auto (Richtung Bryce Canyon).Leggi altro
